Spread Your Wings

You'll learn a variety of important things including pre-flight preparation,  weather patterns and forecasting, the complexities of the United States Airspace, how your airplane works on the inside and out; and most importantly, how to fly it safely and have fun doing it!

As part of your detailed training, you will have at least 20 hours of flying with our certified instructor; but you will also fly over 10 hours by yourself! From night flying to cross-country experience, you will learn it all!

The Checkride

Your "checkride" is essentially your driving test in the airplane. You will spend half a day with a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner. During this process, you will sit down cover all of the various knowledge  topics you learned out with our instructor over the course of your training. After that, you'll go for a quick flight to prove your mastery of the skills you've learned, and you'll walk away as an officially licensed pilot!

Your New Freedoms

Once you've earned your wings, you'll be able to rent our plane (or take your own!) out for the famous "$100 hamburger," give all your friends and family rides, and even fly to that one city you've never been to 'just because!'
